BGR Energy strengthens on good Q2 results

BGR Energy Systems rose 1.91% to Rs 154.80 at 12:21 IST on BSE, as net profit surged 47.76% to Rs 23.69 crore in Q2 September 2008 over Q2 September 2007.
The stock hit a high of Rs 161.80 and a low of Rs 152.40 so far during the day. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 988 on 4 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 132.50 on 27 October 2008.
The stock gained 8.77% to Rs 151.90 on 29 October 2008, from a recent low of Rs 139.65 on 27 October 2008, ahead of the results. The stock surged 7.23% to Rs 149.75 on 28 October 2008.
The company’s current equity is Rs 72 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
The current price of Rs 154.80 discounts the company’s Q2 September 2008 annualized EPS of Rs 13.16, by a PE multiple of 11.76.
BGR Energy Systems’ total income rose 38.9% to Rs 432.97 crore in Q2 September 2008 over Q2 September 2007.
In August 2008, the company bagged an order worth Rs 39.60 crore for supply air fin coolers to Essar group's refinery expansion project at Jamnagar in Gujarat.
BGR Energy Systems is a supplier of systems and equipment for the power, oil and gas, petrochemical and process industries.
