Indus Fila declined 2.32% to Rs 162 off from its high of Rs 178.90 at 11:26 IST on BSE ahead of its board meeting to consider the proposal for merging Tulip Apparels with itself.
Meanwhile, BSE Sensex was up 100.05 points or 0.63% to 16,024.77.
On BSE, 1,263 shares were traded in the counter. The scrip had an average daily volume of 28,568 shares in the past one quarter.

Tulip Apparels is an apparel contract manufacturer based in
Indus Fila’s net profit rose 61.2% to Rs 12.09 crore on 60.4% rise in sales to Rs 124.22 crore in Q3 December 2007 over Q3 December 2006.
Indus Fila is engaged in yarn dyeing, fabric weaving, fabric processing and apparel manufacturing. It manufacturers color dyed, solid dyed fabrics for domestic garment manufacturers and exporters. The men’s shirts and women's tops manufactured by the company are mainly for export.
