MUMBAI: Foreign Fund Merrill Lynch Capital Market Espana on Tuesday sold off shares worth Rs 816.22 crore in four companies, including Anil Ambani-led Reliance Energy.
Merrill Lynch Capital Markets Espana sold off 33.97 lakh shares of Reliance Energy at a price of Rs 1,240 each, aggregating to Rs 421.33 crore in a bulk deal on the BSE.
The fund also sold shares worth Rs 144.52 crore, Rs 175.36 crore and Rs 75.01 crore in Jain Irrigation, Jai Corporation and Indiabulls Real Estate, respectively.
Meanwhile, Merrill Lynch Capital acquired 15 lakh equity shares in Bank of India at a price of Rs 267 each, aggregating to Rs 40.05 crore in a block deal at the bourse.
Besides, another foreign fund Morgan Stanley Mauritius Company picked up 33.96 lakh equity shares of Anil Ambani led-Reliance Energy for Rs 421.12 crore in open market transactions.
