IFGL sets up synthetic bone graft blocks unit
KOLKATA: IFGL Refractories has set up a facility to produce bone graft blocks and granules at its unit near Rourkela in Orissa. The bio ceramics facility has been set up with technical tie-up from the Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute here. A company release said that although these products are synthetic they are both bio compatible and bio-active as the porous and crystalline structure provides osteo conductivity and re-absorbility. Indian Patents Application has been filed for the BioGraft Dental Granules. — Special Correspondent
