Nava Bharat Ventures recovers on strong Q4 results

Nava Bharat Ventures gained 0.43% to Rs 302.50 at 12:36 IST on BSE, off session's low of Rs 291, after posting 196.1% surge in net profit to Rs 129.41 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 305 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 351.80 on 7 January 2008 and the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 125 on 21 May 2007.

The company’s current equity is Rs 15.57 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

The current price of Rs 302.50 discounts its Q4 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 66.49, by a PE multiple of 4.55.

Nava Bharat Ventures’ net sales rose 86.6% to Rs 343.70 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The company is engaged in manufacturing and selling of ferro alloys. The group operates through three segments: ferro alloys, power and sugar. The group also provides infrastructure projects.
