Astra Microwave Products Reliance Mutual Fund has acquired 5.31% stake

Astra Microwave Products slumped 5.01% to Rs 37 at 13:24 IST on BSE even as the company said that Reliance Mutual Fund has acquired 5.31% stake in the company from the open market.

The stock hit a high of Rs 39 and a low of Rs 36.70 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 187 on 18 July 2007 and a 52-week low of Rs 36.50 on 1 July 2008.

The mid-cap communication equipment maker has an equity capital of Rs 10.81 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

The current price of Rs 37 discounts its Q4 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 9.43, by a PE multiple of 3.92.

The net profit of Astra Microwave Products fell 12.6% to Rs 12.67 crore on a 33.7% rise in sales to Rs 68.74 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The company is engaged in designing and manufacturing communication equipments widely used in VSAT operations, radars, navigational equipment, public mobile trunk radio, WLL, cellular GSM/DCS or PCS networks.
