Almondz Global Securities capitalises on strong Q4 figures

Almondz Global Securities gained 1.70% to Rs 59.80 at 12:32 IST on BSE after posting 224.56% surge in net profit to Rs 4.94 crore on 136.04% growth in total income to Rs 28.35 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 60.75 and a low of Rs 56.25 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 139.95 on 1 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 42.45 on 24 March 2008.

The company’s current equity is Rs 15.19 crore. Face value per share is Rs 6.

The current price of Rs 59.80 discounts its Q3 December 2007 annualised EPS of Rs 44.49, by a PE multiple of 14.86.

Almondz Global Securities’ net profit rose 62.29% to Rs 10.47 crore on 101.77% growth in total income to Rs 89.06 crore in the year ended March 2008 (FY 2008) over the year ended March 2007 (FY 2007).

The company provides financial services. The group operates in three segments, money market operations, corporate finance and distribution operations.
