Astral Poly Technik Good Q4 numbers

Astral Poly Technik slipped 1.23% to Rs 184 at 10:31 IST on BSE despite reporting 68.7% surge in net profit to Rs 5.23 crore on 43.6% increase in net sales to Rs 46.31 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 199.90 and a low of Rs 184 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 235.40 on 3 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 99.80 on 13 June 2007.

The company’s current equity is Rs 11.24 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.

The current price of Rs 184 discounts its Q4 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 18.61, by a

PE multiple of 9.89.

Astral Poly Technik’s net profit rose 87.37% to Rs 17.06 crore on 44.11% rise in total income to Rs 140.49 crore in the year ended March 2008 over the year ended March 2007.

The company is a manufacturer and provider of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) piping and plumbing systems in India.
