Jai Corp tumbles despite robust Q4 numbers

Jai Corp declined 5% to Rs 639 at 10:02 IST on BSE despite posting 85.16% rise in net profit to Rs 38.81 crore on 82.79% rise in total income to Rs 147.57 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 668 and a low of Rs 639.10 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 1,450 on 10 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 84.80 on 15 May 2007.

The company’s current equity is Rs 17.85 crore. Face value per share is Rs 1.

The current price of Rs 639 discounts its Q3 December 2007 annualised EPS of Rs 8.7, by a PE multiple of 93.55.

Jai Corp is engaged in manufacturing of sheets and coils, fabrics and spinning yarn.
