Jyoti received New order

Jyoti rose 0.24% to Rs 84.45 at 10:37 IST on BSE after the company said it has received an order worth Rs 27.24 crore from Aravali Power Co for 600 megawatt Indira Gandhi super thermal power plant - Jhajjar.

The stock hit a high of Rs 84.50 and a low of Rs 82 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 191.50 on 1 January 2008 and the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 66.20 on 27 March 2008.

The company’s current equity is Rs 12.68 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 84.45 discounts its Q4 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 17.43, by a PE multiple of 4.85.

The project has to be executed within a period of 30 months from the date of receipt.

In March 2008, Jyoti bagged an order worth $39.64 million from Uganda Electricity Transmission Company for construction of transmission line and sub-stations in Uganda.

Jyoti’s net profit rose 46.7% to Rs 5.53 crore on 43.5% growth in total income to Rs 87.43 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007

The company's principal activity is to manufacture and market electrical and hydraulic engineering equipments.
