Mohit Industries spurts on robust Q4 figures

Mohit Industries spurted 8.01% to Rs 23.60 at 12:11 IST on BSE after posting 180.13% surge in net profit to Rs 0.42 crore on 1.93% fall in total income to Rs 29.71 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 23.60 and a low of Rs 21.10 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 42.70 on 5 July 2007 and a 52-week low of Rs 12.20 on 24 March 2008.

The company’s current equity is Rs 11.97 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 23.60 discounts its Q3 December 2007 annualised EPS of Rs 4.91, by a PE multiple of 4.81.

Mohit Industries’ net profit fell 2.67% to Rs 3.11 crore on 25.40% increase in total income to Rs 121.14 crore in the year ended March 2008 over the year ended March 2007.

The company's principal activity is to operate in textile industry. The group operates in two divisions: texturising division and power loom division.
