JK Tyre & Industries good results

JK Tyre & Industries reported 291.40% surge in net profit to Rs 66.73 in the year ended March 2008 over year ended March 2007

The stock hit a high of Rs 133.90 and a low of Rs 128.50 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 195 on 3 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 104 on 24 March 2008.

The company’s current equity is Rs 30.79 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 132.05 discounts its Q2 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 29.91, by a PE multiple of 4.41.

JK Tyre & Industries’ net sales rose 7.90% to Rs 2816.16 crore in the year ended March 2008 over year ended March 2007.

The company reported 67.40% rise in net profit to Rs 23.02 crore on 11.10% increase in net sales to Rs 829.96 crore in Q2 March 2008 over Q2 March 2007.

JK Tyre & Industries is engaged in designing, developing, manufacturing, distributing and servicing of conventional and radial tyres, tubes and flaps. It manufactures truck and bus radials, steel radials for cars, light commercial vehicle (LCV), truck and bus.
