C & C Constructions' Good quarterly earnings

C & C Constructions reporting 51.76% surge in net profit to Rs 12.47 crore in Q3 March 2008 over Q3 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 213.50 and a low of Rs 208 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 317.95 on 3 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 163.80 on 13 June 2007.

The company’s current equity is Rs 18.26 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 210.75 discounts its Q2 December 2007 annualised EPS of Rs 16.12, by a PE multiple of 13.07.

C & C Constructions’ total income rose 69.24% to Rs 179.48 crore in Q3 March 2008 over Q3 March 2007.

On 8 April 2008, C & C Constructions secured a contract worth Rs 574 crore from Jaypee Associates for the construction and development of a four-lane road.

In March 2008, the company bagged two orders worth Rs 202 crore from Himachal Pradesh Road and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
