Sintex Industries robust quarterly earnings

Sintex Industries reporting 64.62% surge in net profit to Rs 88.4 crore on 78.32% growth in total income to Rs 664.88 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 477 and a low of Rs 444 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 615 on 4 January 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 193.50 on 9 May 2007.

The company’s current equity is Rs 27.30 crore. Face value per share is Rs 2.

The current price of Rs 463 discounts its Q3 December 2007 annualised EPS of Rs 18.35, by a PE multiple of 25.23.

Sintex Industries’ net profit rose 65.67% to Rs 216.33 crore on 48.56% growth in total income to Rs 1700.26 crore in the year ended March 2008 (FY 2008) over the year ended March 2007 (FY 2007).

The company manufactures water storage tanks, loft tanks, industrial containers and material handling containers.
