Dewan Housing Finance Strong Q4

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation advanced 5.35% to Rs 115.15 at 10:41 IST on BSE after posting 117.8% surge in net profit to Rs 29.44 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The stock hit a high of Rs 116 and a low of Rs 111.30 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 252.35 on 11 January 2008 and the stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 60.90 on 12 October 2007.

The company’s current equity is Rs 60.52 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The current price of Rs 115.15 discounts its Q4 March 2008 annualised EPS of Rs 19.46, by a PE multiple of 5.92.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation’s operating income rose 45.1% to Rs 148.02 crore in Q4 March 2008 over Q4 March 2007.

The company provides housing finance to individuals, co-operative societies, corporate bodies or their nominated employees, groups of persons. It also leases commercial and residential premises to reputed companies.
